Thank you all for your lovely comments. As for the jods well I have had those jods and the jacket since I was 12!! Yes 12! I didnt grow much past 13 and my gran always bought things for me to grow into! I am very superstitious when it comes to my riding gear, for example when showing Bonny I always wear the same knickers! I have never been placed when not wearing them and I have some lucky socks too although they now have big holes in them so they hurt my toes! When the jods wear out I dont know what I will do such a shame though the new ones are lovely but I just cant wear them now! Or maybe it was because I didnt see any magpies on the way there ummmm I just dont know! The jumps were 2ft 6 so not enormous when your OH is watching but they seem much bigger when your heading towards them!

With jods youll have to do some winter stuff and then you can waer the new ones on top till the effect rubs off the old and onto the new, and Magpies -you have to add them up one for sorrow etc. It can get quite positive!
