Went to Bakewell show yesterday, and had a good day, although got caught out by the weather - damp and grey in the morning, and then bright sunshine in the afternoon, and hence rather pink face and neck for me! Clair took Dilly in the M&M youngstock - but I'll leave her to tell you how they did - Dilly looked fantastic and so mature! There were only a few M&Ms and only in hand classes, but there were hundreds (well that's a slight exaggeration) of Welsh classes. Where were all the other native ponies? . I had Isabel with me, so we had to watch the Welsh A clasees and the lead rein too - for a 4 year old she can really pick a winner - gets it right in every class!! Sha also has amazing concentration when at a show and will wtch classes for a couple of hours non stop! Anyway - I hope Clair will tell you all how she did soon.

Well........this was our first county show, so it was all a bit exciting for Dilly ;D BUT we survived and got........2nd in the mixed mountain and moorland youngstock!!!!!! The trot up was all too exciting and we almost parted company. More practice required I think.
Hopefully Sarah took some pictures, hubby did but I have forgotten to fetch the camera in this morning.
Clair and "madam" Dilly ;D ;D

Clair,
I've got about a dozen photos from the show, but those were my favourites. Yes, it WAS a grin!!! I like it as it's a proud mum and baby photo ...... just not sure where you were hiding the rossie in that photo!
Let me know if I'm ok to email them to you at work, and I can do that this afternoon if it's ok. They'll be reduced in size to email.
