Hi Alison

I only ever saw you when you were IN the ring..... Clair and I got a bench right at the front of the free viewing area in front of the grassy banks, and just kept our place there til the Dales classes had finished. Didn't see any other Dalesfans in that area at all! Kept looking round, but didn't recognise anyone....... except for the grooms/"hangerson" who were standing watching inside the main arena.

Doris looked beautiful. She's so well toned at the moment, it was lovely to see. I DO like to see a working pony!

Didn't see any of the riddens on Wednesday but glad you enjoyed it.

I must have walked past you a thousand times too Sarah, I think i must have stood nearly in front of you at one point looking at the angle of those photos. Did you manage to get any of Magic by any chance? Ours aren't the best.

ROFL Alison, Magic soon woke up when he came out of the lorry but he does like his dozes in the lorry.

Anna, we weren't too sure who was who........was it you who that impolite(!) chap asked to move out of the way so he could take a photo of Magic? We were sat on the next bench along.

ROFL Yes it was LOL He put my back right up; I was just talking to Scott (Handler) about something Magic was (or actually in this case was not) doing in the ring when I get demanded to shift!! A 'Can I take a photo of him please' would have sufficed and I would have moved most happily. LOL!

I took loads of photos of the Fells/Dales on my good camera, and then got a card error and I lost the lot, so switched to my little camera. Don't think I've got one of Clemmie and you though. Too many nice ponies there!

I too think Westwick Heather is lovely Sarah, do you know how she got on? SHe is one of my favorites! Also love that Highcroft mare, I saw her at the Royal and could have taken her home, there was a spcae in the lorry as well!!! LOL

those 2 mares were definitely my favourites, without a doubt.

I'd have placed Westwick Heather first in that class, without a doubt....... Couldn't take my eyes off her, but let's see:

I think the order was probably:
1st: Charlie's Roandale Blossom
2nd: Westwick Fashion
3rdWestwick Heather
4th Highcroft Jess
5th: Penny/Nic/Michael's Waterside Joanne

(Edited to include the results that Clair has posted! Thanks Clair. Hope you didn't mind me sneaking an occasional look at the catalogue! I should have brought a pen with me to write down some of the results!)

There were some LOVELY movers in the placings in that class!

2nd was Westwick Fashion. Westwick Heather was third and Highcroft Jess 4th........guess who did buy the catalogue LOL!

Westwick Heather is one stunning pony - Highcroft Jess is the other I would have taken home in that class apart (from my Joanne of course).

Westwick Petal - (the brood mare), was the Champion and the 2yr old Westwick Rachael from the yearling/2yr old class was in reserve Debbie

The one with the 3 youngsters is Westwick Rose, then Keith Metcalf and Bolam Starlight, then Charlie Parker
