We braved the good old Englsh weather and dutifully loaded up and went showing today. Long day!!!! We were there for 8.30am as the pony that came with us was in a class for 9am, and FINALLY crawled through the front door, home at 7pm ish!!! We came away with a 1st in Ridden Cob, a 2nd in M&M Inhand and a 3rd in M&M ridden. D could have goen better in the M&M, but in fairness to him I was probably holding on a little tighter than usual due to us both still sporting bruising from our recent encounter with the floor. The pony that came with us left with 2 1sts, a 2nd and a 4th! So happy trailer home! Everyone very tired, but happy! The little lass that came with us came and thanked me for taking them (although OH actually does the towing!) and told me that that was the best show EVER which to be honest made my day! A few piccies from today. We will hopefully have a few of better quality a little later! Dont know what is going on with my face here! LOL M&M Inhand - took what the judge said with a pinch of salt as she told me to trim off his chinny wafflers!!! Told her - no thanks! She said it would emphisise his head! Mensionned that I thought his head was quite big enough! Maybe that was why we came 2nd!! And obviously one of D doing what he does best! A show with GRASS!! Now theres a change to the norm! LOL

I am glad you have had a wonderful day. How nice of the little girl to come and say thank you. It does make it all worth while when you know you have made someone so happy. A long day but we know how you feel today too! Well done.

Thanks!!! It was the Garforth and District show Sue. D was still decked out this morning when I went to see to him! He even ate his apple and treats laying down! Breakfast in bed for ponies now!

Well done! He's a lovely boy! Weather looks horrible, you're so brave to go when it's like that. Can't beleive a judge would say that either, don't they know anything about M&M's!!!
Love the pic of him behind the judge, looks like he's just waitng to deck her one!! Lol!
