Hi everyone. Just got back from P(UK). Had a great time and Mischief was a little star. Arrived Monday and put her in the stable, thought she was settled but as we walked away we heard an almighty bang and she came trotting up behind us. She had only smashed the door in half. We got her another stable but I was then paranoid and saying "this week is going to be a disaster." HOW WRONG WAS I. Tuesday morning she went in the Dales classes. Won her class and was Champion. She had to go into the evening performance which is what we have always thought would be wonderful, but never dreamt we would be in there. The panic set in. Would she behave with all the noise and lights? She was marvelous. I have never seen her move like it. Ian said he couldn't keep up with her and she carried him round the corner. we were ecstatic and gave her lots of hugs. The next morning she was in the Glyn Greenwood. We couldn't believe it when she finished Reserve Champion Youngstock in a huge class of champion ponies. She was in the evening performance again, and once again she was brilliant. thursday morning she was in her last class. An open M&M and she did us proud by coming second. We decided on Thursday she had done enough and that we should come home and let her back in the field with her mates to relax. She should have gone in the Cuddys on Saturday night but she is only 3 years old and we felt she deserved a rest after the three days. We came away with a lovely sash and an old trophy that was first won in 1953 by Johnny Dalton and Snowhope Heather Belle when it was called The Ponies of Britain show. I would like to thank all the dalesfans down there for helping to make the show so memorable especially Brian, Karen and Colin who helped make the evenings great.
This is the one and only photo of her in the evening performance so if anyone has any more I would much appreciate a copy.
