Oh no! Poor Doris (and poor you!). I hope she is ok in a few days. I think you should definately take Tinker, she'd love it.

Thankyou everyone for your kind words - never having had a lame pony before I am veering between 1) it'll be fine in a week and 2) thats it ridden career over she'll have to go in foal Very irrational I know - but trying to stay calm.

Kate yes we will still be there, Rachel is riding Duke. I am probably bringing Tinker to keep him company and we will do the handy pony and maybe have a bash at the jumping

Are you sure clever Doris isn't pulling a fast one as it'll be hard work doing intermediate???!!!!! Very sorry for both of you. I can bring Isaac for you to ride instead if you'd like, he likes jumping....? L&K Luce

keep your chin up mate! It's hard when they are just not sound to stay positive, but its not always as bad as it seems at first. I think it is the now knowing precisely what the problem is that makes it worse. Hopefully she will be back fighting fit soon. I hope so, we have a winter season to share!
Keep smiling, see you Sunday! Big virtual hug coming your way - you can have the real one on Sunday.
