Who will be at the Performance Show???

Don't know whether this will help anyone. I took it from another shedule.
From the A1 at the Selby Fork Hotel, take the A63 towards Selby. Before reaching Selby turn right onto the A19 and continue into Brayton Village. Go through the traffic lights and Mill Lane is on the right about 100yds through the lights. The stables are situated on the left, half a mile down the lane.

I think those directions are quite old!

You dont go past the Selby Fork hotel anymore as that part of the A1 is now just for Leeds only. You now get to use the new supadupa A1(M!!!)

And you no longer have to go to Selby to get to Brayton due to the new bypass that starts just after hambleton. It cuts Selby out completely and runs behind Mill Lane.

In order to kill two sparrows with one rock - Could I get to the show from Selby without using a Motorway?- (My brother lives near Selby and I could visit him as well) I wasnt going to come - but might now be able to watch (maybe?)

In which case - yes - no motorway! It is literally 2 minutes from Selby town centre!

Easy - out of hemingborough, taking the signs for Selby (A19), turn left on to the A19 and then at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the bypass. Straight down there, over the big swing bridge to a big roundabout - straight over (2nd exit) and to another big roundabout, take the last exit of there (3rd) into Brayton, then 1st left up Mill Lane!

No motorway involvement whatsoever!

And as I recall Em, D and I did not make a good impression! Was that the day he was crabbing about, been an ass and slobbered my poor mother as she fed him carrots to keep him still, whilst my dear OH tried to remove my boot and pulled me straight out of the car and very close to the mud?!?! I think it was! LOL

Do come over and say hello Emily. Cannot miss us, Green Bedford wagon with driving ponies written on the front ....and two or three noisy dogs barking their brains out. That goes for the rest of the dalesfans as well. Will bring some wine, so those who are not driving can have a drink with us. Well, maybe I won't have a drink with every dalesfan ....I would be legless!!
