Here we go then!
Fresh fruit is best. But also what is very good, is the fresh fruit you can buy from teh supermarkets that have been frozen. Such as strawberries, raspberries or other fresh salad fruits.
Fruits not to use: Apples and Pears. These seem to separate out and sort of make it all rather mushy. Kids dont like these fruits in a smoothie any other way is ok though.
OK
TInned fruit first so you can get going....
Tin of peaches in fruit juice. Tropical fruit juice or orange juice Ice cubes. Chuck the lot into blender (good motor one if your using ice) Blend till smooth
If its too thick, add more juice If its too thin, add more fruit
Enjoy
A good one this Ribena Fresh banana peeled About 3/4 pint milk Ice
Chuck lot in Blend and enjoy.... reallly good this one is.
Strawberries (tinned or frozen), dont need to thaw out frozen fruits. Large pot of yoghurt natural of course. Ice Whizz in blender.
OH,.... you can try fromage frais, natural instead of yoghurt for a different taste. AND half fat creme fresh is nice as well.
Basically any fruit mix is ace. Add fruit juice and ice and blend. Experiment. So send your successess here!
