I don't seem to have had very much time to see/chat to fellow Dalesfans recently, so I was wondering whether anyone would be interested in a gathering here, at our place in Darlington? Can't offer much except a very warm welcome, but we don't do 'posh' - or even tidy! I thought peeps may be interested to see our ponies, have a walk round our place and have a good natter. Sarah is coming to see us on 23 July, so that could be a possible date, or the weekend after the Yorkshire? What do you think? Maggie

Looking forward to seeing you both and all your ponies on the 23rd.
If it looks like the weekend of 15/16 is better for other Dalesfans, then I'd just have to have a word with friends who may be coming to stay that weekend and check whether we could all get up there then. I've got the trimmer on that Saturday afternoon whatever, so will definitely have to be around home then.
Thanks for suggesting a meetup!

Looks like it might need to be next weekend then? Would Saturday or Sunday be better, either would suit us?
For anyone who hasn't been before, email me for directions
Off to a grassland management workshop tomorrow, so this leaves me even less time to tidy up! Would you believe me if I said the place was usually immaculate and you'd just caught us on a bad day?!?
Looking forward to seeing you

I would quite like to meet ponies and people if that would be okay. I'm not sure where you are, is it Darlington area? Also what sort of time of day do you have in mind? Either day, to suit others. Barbara

The Sunday would definitely be the best day for me, as there's nothing else fixed for that day, whereas on the Saturday my trimmer is meant to be here about 1ish which would limit me a bit. I'd love to make it up for the DF gettogether, but if the Saturday does seem the best day for most other people, I'll just miss out on it and catch up with you the next weekend as we'd originally arranged.

Linda
it'll be good to (hopefully) meet up with you again, and hear more about your recent visit to Malham. Can't remember if you were still at my place when Maggie and Roger came down here for the DF get-together earlier in the year? But I'm sure there'll be a few familiar faces, whatever.
