no, not that sort of broody ....horse broody LOL!!
I just thought it would be nice for Folly to have a friend her own age. At the moment we have to leave one of the others in the field with her when we ride out, which is a pain at times. I have been been scanning the Dales for sale list ......Rick says we are definitely NOT having any more.
Hmm....we will see. I already have something in the pipeline, but that is definitely not a Dales. Rick said no to that too, and it would not take up much space or eat much!!

How about sheep lol! Gem spends most of her time grazing with them rather than Toby, and has struck up a good friendship with one of the castrated males ;D
I'd also like another youngster to be a companion for Gem. I'm sure Dave wouldn't mind, as it's me that looks after them - but I'd have to think hard, already having seven!

Yes, Karen, it is my dream to have my own herd (well got one already haven't I, but you know what I mean).
I am just keeping my fingers crossed that Molly gets in foal this time .......
