I know, normally this looks like something stuffed on the telemarketing in the middle of the night, but it really truly works Eldon got this stuff in for us about a month ago xylitolnow.com/nasal.html Not only has it cleared up my sinuses and sharpened my eyesight, it stopped a cold dead in its tracks this past Saturday. I woke up with the classic symptoms of swollen glands, cold sore starting, and hard to swallow. I sincerely did not want a cold, so I grabbed the nasal spray took a few good snorks and then lay back on my pillow so gravity could take it back and properly up into my sinus cavities. The stuffs a miracle!!! I could feel it working. I took another snork after I did the morning feeds, and another in the afternoon. By the time I'd finished with my morning feeds I could feel the cold shifting, by the evening, the cold was definitely out the door. It says that xylitol attacks most of the bacteria that cause the upper respiratory infections. I know sometimes the saline bit stings, but other than that it doesn't hurt, and I've never seen anything shift a cold this quickly. The xylitol goes to the source of the problem and kills them dead. I wonder if this would help for the strangles with the horses?? Its supposed to work against the strep....isn't that the one responsible for the strangles? No matter what, its worked brilliantly against my cold

That's interesting Debbie. I don't think I've seen the nasal spray but, funnily enough, I spotted a spray called "night rescue" last week. It is the normal Rescue Remedy but with xylitol instead of alcohol. I might try some if I get a sore throat (it is marketed as something to help you get a good nights sleep).

I think its good too Sue, I used it the last time I felt a cold coming on, it did,nt stop the cold as such, but it was a very mild dose and it cleared up very quickly.
