The forecast had been rain for Easter Sunday and sun for today. So, as we'd had a cold wet ride on Saturday I planned other things for Sunday and said we'd take the boys to Nesscliffe on Monday. Then, I met my neighbour out yesterday and she said she was just off to a Fun Ride at Nesscliffe! I was annoyed to have missed it but thought never mind, we're going there anyway. So took the boys to Nesscliffe today - and the weather was icy blasts of wind and sleet showers!!! Never mind, we still had a lovely ride even though we were frozen by the time we got home. Roll on warm weather!

I know the feeling Gill, we had a great ride today all over Margam mountain, but we did have sleet on the way, but no snow.

Mydalespony... we can buy hip flasks in whiskey stores and jewellery shops over here. I think I bought Suzie P one from an equestrian store too.

Brrrr - I'll bet you enjoyed it though. I used to live at Nesscliffe and loved riding on Nesscliffe hill. (didn't enjoy crossing the main road though - my NF mare Folly was horrendous in traffic )
