Our local pony club is dead against riders using pink Hi Viz because it isnt as visable as yellow..... so many of our members dont bother at all! In my oppinion if young girls think its cool to have a ' My horse has the most pink hi viz on' competition then encourage them! If they will only wear pink then let them , after all is better than not being seen at all! here is echo, just an ordinary hack so no lights needed and only minimal hi viz needed. how hot is my pony!?! that is really cool im liking that i did look at them but might think of getting one as they are safety really arnt they he is also a gorgeous pony. x

I think your riding club people are wrong too. I ride with the same pink fluorescent neck strap and I also have a bright pink bridle - you may have seen various pics of Harvey in his pink outfit. It really does make us stand out on the roads and I rarely go out for a hack without at least one car stopping to tell me they appreciate how clearly they can see us.

Brilliant pics she does stand out in that pink hi viz, funnily enough I've read that pink is more visable than the yellow  I think that pink will be better if you are riding along a country lane in the summer the yellow is too close to the greens in my opinion  |

Hi viz pink is better on any day than black or browns  Silly not to encourage hi viz pink. LOL ~ Blossom would be GREEN with envy if only she could see this!!  You and Echo look lovely and highly visible in your pink outfit.  |

I am green with envy! It bothers me to see that I am the only one that uses any hi-viz around here. I have got to get pink!

I am quite bad, I always think th put my tabard on but usually forget. Monica always wears her hi-vis coat though, so we are very visible.
Echo looks very pretty in pink!

Pink wasn't an option where I got mine but it looks just as visible as yellow to me. I wear a Hi-vis yellow tabard and a bright red hat cover but the postman still couldn't see us! I did wonder if he had his eyes open  Maybe we should try a combo of hi-vis and I can call James Joseph |

I think pink looks good, and can be seen as well as the yellow.
I always wear a hi viz jacket in yellow, don't think I've seen a pink jacket.

ANY hi-vis equipment should be actively encouraged I think.
I use yellow as I feel a bit silly in pink! LOL
