Piccies of Jenny - aged 41 remember!!

I think for 41 Jenny is in show ring condition!! She looks fantastic. I certainly wouldnt have any concerns about her. You're doing a really great job with her. There are 2 oldies on my yard one Chloe is in her late twenties and the other is Connie a 38 yr old arab. Chloe doesnt look too clever but Connie is amazing and still ridden out occasionally on hacks.

I wish I looked that good at the same age! She is amazing and I have to agree with Debbie, she doesn't look potbellied in that picture of her.

I think she looks fab and you cannot tell from that picture of her,, her advanced age at all.

She looks great. Here there are 28 head. 20 of em are retired. She looks just as good as they do.

Aw, thank you all. She is a bit bellied in 'real life' but I am quite happy with her. I wouldn't ask her to do very much - I used to walk her up to the top fields about a mile away, but she wouldn't manage it now. Her eyesight is a bit poor so she is better somewhere she knows in any case.

Monty? Hmm.... I'll do a post especially for him.....

She has been having soaked grass nuts (3/4lb dry weight), pasture mix (1lb) and fibergy (handful) over the winter plus hay and zerobute. I reckon the grass nuts have really helped her.

It is difficult to be affectionate to a pony that is so stand-offish and self contained as Jenny, but she seems happy with her lifestyle!!
