Following on from Jane's piccies of the amazing Jenny I thought I'd put some pics I took yesterday of Winnie on here. Winnie is "only" 34 and I am very pleased with how he's come through the winter. He is fatter than normal for him and is feeling very well but you can see he looks older than Jenny. I've been told he had a dippy back even as a 6 year old: In the field shelter After a good roll: Some one who has come through the winter rather too well!

Aaah, Winnie is lovely! Harvey looks very shiney, and in about as good condition as mine , although mine do still have their thick coats and it's a bit hard to tell! I think they may have lost a tiny bit ;D Did you used to ride Winnie Pam?

Winnie looks pretty good for his age and is obviously still enjoying life.
Harvey does not look as if winter has been too traumatic for him, lol! At least you can see his body condition. I'm dreading what moulting may reveal in the fat department with my lot. I like them to come out of the winter skinny, but I'm not convinced that's going to be the case this year!

LOL, mucky boy. I reckon if they can get down and have a good roll they are doing pretty well. I think Winnie looks great, very similar to Jenny really. Much the same around the face and body.
Harvey looks fab!

Jane - but Winnie is 7 years younger than Jennie! I think she looks fantastaic! Gill - no I never rode Winnie. He was a retired 26 year old when I took him on although I did have a sit on him once. He was quite a character in his youth by all accounts and did well at gymkhana and SJ. He had a habit of escaping from his young riders and was often seen galloping down the roads riderless. He is still very mischevious running rings round Quest and Harvey and is very quick to let kids know when he's had enough!

Winnie is fab and obviously a very happy and contended pony when you see him in the flesh. But what pony wouldn't be happy and contented in Pam's care? They are treated like royalty! Apart from Harvey of course. You can see he is beaten and starved - a very sad miserable looking pony!
NOT!
