I know summer proper is still a little bit away, but this year I decided to be prepared ahead of time. Blossom's got her very own Equine Koozie, although its being sent to her seamstress to get the 'just right' fit. I ordered a cooling cap liner, as I've got enough baseball caps to float a navy. This morning was the test drive for this new to me cooling technology. The liner is soaked in water for about 5 to 15 minutes. That's it! Then you wipe away the excess water and it does its cooling for the next 6 hours. hobbyhillfarm.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=682I will say it took awhile for me to notice the cooling affect, but I also have my sunhat on. I daresay if it was stuffed into a proper baseball hat or better yet, under an english helmet, that it would give much faster cooling relief. I've got it on now, and I can feel it hard at work, cooling the top of my head. So far its two thumbs up from me!! We'll see what happens when Blossom test drives their Koozie later.

Doesn't it make your hair wet?

No. The material absorbs the water so its dry inside and out.

That would be a good idea for longer rides.
