:-*Rosie my beautiful highland mare had to be put to sleep on march 10th 2007...i thought i,d post a rememberance as i still miss her awfully...I have my other horses but she was my gal for so long.Sh was 27yrs young but got lymphangitus..We battled to get her better eventually the vet told me nothing left too try and on a very sad saturday morning we had to do the terrible task!My husband lou couldn,t hold her in the end cause he was too upset...So my good freind janet did it ....We loved her because she really was a one off.........sleep tight bean...xxxxx

She was a lovely girl, wasn't she? I assumed she was a grey, but you said in her younger days she was a strawberry roan. Such a big chunky girl, with a lovely long mane and tail.
Rosie didn't like having those back feet trimmed, did she?!!!
