Well, what a day its been!
Diana began to drip from her udder rather profusely yesterday, so we brought her in overnight to her new foaling stable and the minx did nothing overnight. Instead, after I turned her out 7am this morning - I went to work at 8 and she was just fine, eating as usual - at 20 past 9 I get a phone call, can I come home pelase, Diana is foaling!
Home I went of course, and sure enough by the time I got there some 18 minutes later, (the longest 18 minute journey ever), there was Diana licking her new daughter!

She is black with a tiny star and a thin white half coronet on one hind foot!. absolutely beautiful and a dream come true for me as it took a lot of courage for me to put Diana in foal! Oh, it was so worth it! :woo:
