Here's how NOT to do it : Wilf has mounted before he is fully ready. If this covering had been in-hand he could have been held back until he was properly equipped! ..and you can also see that this mare is a tail-clamper. She would benefit from in-hand covering with Julie & Anna's string!

never crossed my mind to take pics of jack doing the deed... did wrap doris's tail up, never thought about the string but she didn't need it anyway,,,, ;D

Another caption that springs to mind is "Put my nighty down when your finished !" sorry coudnt resist hope I havnt offended anyone. As far as our stallions covering mares both the shire and the gelderlander we keep a close eye on the condition of their front feet as we have had minor cuts on mares backs caused by bad chips on their hooves when they are running with mares yes its due to the weight of our boys Have pictures of some of our stallions covering in hand but most are a bit too explicit for posting the web will sort through them to try to find a suitable one

I wonder who he is Evie?? ;D Some one I can mention doesn't have that problem! His problem is it's his Mum and she's too tall! But only just! Amy as usual is completely oblivious!
