In-hand showing

I'll hopefully get to show my Stumpy pony at the end of July (what an end of uni treat ) and I'll probably do the in-hand showing, I was just curious:

> Where can I get some tan or cream in-hand trousers on a tight budget?
> What are they judging for, specifically for a unreg dales pony?
> I can show with my ridden bridle can't I?
> What do I wear on my head?

This is what I wore last time we show-ed in hand but it didn't look that nice...It was my tweed jacket, my cream shirt, red tie, these horrid cream cargo pants I no longer have, my riding boots and my riding hat.

you can get some light coloured trousers from primark.Your riding bridle is fine.your jacket shirt tie are fine.some dark boots you can run in or your riding boots under your trousers if you can run in them will be fine.make sure your pony is clean ,with feet trimmed and tack is clean and you should be ok.go and enjoy it and remember to smile.
