weeeeee! what a windy day. Just flown nancy out to the field like a kite- think she got home and went 'yay now I can be naughty' so we snorted and pranced and bounced our way out.

It was despite the wind a lovely day, and Nancy was a little star. everyone's ponies looked beautiful as always and it was lovely to see everyone- although as my 'groom' aka the long suffering mother was mostly misbehaving. i.e. gossiping rather thann tending to my every whim and need (I think I need a dog lead so I can keep her under control_sorry mum ) I was rather busy so didn't catch up with everyone- those who I spoke to lovely to see you. those who I didn't sorry I missed you.
I think mum did take some photo's but will have to wait for her to email them.

and how on earth am I sunburned? it wasn't even very sunny. I'll let everyone else tell you how they got on...

hi - watched you from a distance in the ridden class, (it was you in the part bred ridden wasn't it? ) Nancy went really well.

It was quite sunny, but V.V.windy and cold !!

we had a good day, doris got 1st in the broodmare class, Alice 2nd in foal class, Jasmin 1st in Geld mare, and reserve champion of adult in-hand section, and then 2nd in driving!

Well we had an exciting day.....was rather windy

Took Rose, Bess and Ariel...........

I showed Ariel in the yearling class and we came............. 1st

she was a little angel for me and seemed to enjoy every minute of it.

Bess came 5th and Rose got a credible second in her class.

Then came the championships.........

Bess got Reserve section pony behind Adamfield Foxglove

and Ariel, well my little star only went and got reserve youngstock champion

Am still on cloud nine!


BUT Rose blotted her copy book by bucking me off in the ridden class so that is the END of her ridden showing career

Am hoping someone took some pictures, as we were too busy showing

There will be official ones once Bob Turner gets them uploaded!

it was indeed me in the part-bred ridden- she was a little star getting 1st in both inahnd and ridden, she even managed to get 4th in the dressage- I am wondering if there were only 4 in it as we did most of the test sideways avoiding the nancy eating rope markers and terrifying cones.
I hope rose is soon forgiven. bless her. I couldn't see what happened, hope your not too sore.

Well done everyone - sounds like a fantastic day all-round...

....possibly with the exception of Rose, naughty girl!
Why do they always do it in public? Hope you're ok Clair? Ariel's red rosette must be a good remedy for bruising

Well done to everyone, but sorry to hear of your airs above the ground Clair! What a naughty madam, having seen this before I am not surprised you are drawing her showing career to an end!

Well done every one! Sounds like a brilliant day. I'm looking forward to the pics. I think you all deserve first rosettes for just turning up on such a windy day! I wouldn't have dared tow my trailer in the gales we had over here.

mum seems to have misplaced the camera-is either in the lorry or somewhere in the grooming kit- neither of which I am going anywhere near today- so will have to wait a bit longer for mine.
