Does anyone know where you could get one from and how much they are?
I have a fancy for a Butcher's cart but don't know if it is feasible.

Carriage-link occasionally have them, plus milk floats / bakers vans : www.carriagelink.co.uk/carriages_new.php#1Or Reading Carriage Sales? They're not cheap if they're in show condition. I've seen them sell for £3000-£7000!!!!

Thanks for that, I found a sale report from Reading Carriage Sales on 7 May "A much admired and fine Butchers Delivery Van consigned from East Anglia sold for £4,800" Something else for the wishlist

We go to Clitheroe and Beeston Carriage sales, and the trade carts do fetch big money, especially if they are in their original condition.
Rick bought a nice painted little trade cart for Tyson at one of these sales - he had a bidding battle as everyone wanted it. You don't see many for small ponies. On the way out with it, people were trying to buy it even then!!
Its not just the cart, you need the trade harness then, and that definitely does not come cheap!!!

Sounds like you are off shopping!! Good luck. I remember hearing that the painting is what costs the money. The Reading carriage sales are a great day out.
