Molly and Follys mum is off to Walesmoor Emperor this week, it was supposed to be next year, but her owner has brought it forward suddenly .....so hopefully I will be the proud owner of another Dales next year .....secretly hoping for a colt this time!!
Mare has had a colt, then two fillies, so maybe .......

Oooh Mair - will that be another full sibling to Molly and Folly? You can have some good fun with possible names - Lolly (maybe not), Solly (that'd work with a colt), Bolly (very ab fab).....  |

Olivia, it will be a full sister to Folly, but half sister to Molly, as her dad is Village Chieftain. There is Holly I suppose .....no good thinking of names just yet. Hey it could be Ollie ...but a bit confusing with Oliver.

Dolly? As in Dollylane Dolly LOL!! yes, its Kathryn, who so kindly has the stress of breeding the foals and then I get the pleasure - although touch wood, that mare gets in foal first time covered, and sails through the pregnancy, and foaling, and has so far never had any problems whatsoever. So, Kathryn has no qualms about getting her in foal once again - I think she is 15 now.

Carly went over to Emperor on Friday. Kathryn said she dragged her down the track to the field, and Emperor was in the next field, jumped the gate in his excitement to get to Carly. Something he apparantly had never done before - so they both sound very keen LOL!!!

Carly just amazes me - years in between foals, you would think she would be hard to get in foal next time, but no, she doesn't.
She went over to Emperor on Friday teatime, Kathryn was a bit vague as to her season date. Definitely not in season on arrival, kicked out at Emperor. Lo and behold she visited yesterday, Wednesday and he had covered her. So, that means my foal should be due around my birthday - assuming he has definitely caught her (and Emperor rarely misses)
So, I do have something to look forward to now in the foal department all being well.
