went to the equestrian life qualifiers today at our local show ground. came 2nd in the ridden m&m so have qualified for the finals in september- Nancy was a bit sleep- as the class was at 9am so she had an early start as we were on ground by 8.15. stayed around for the afternoon in-hand classes and after bumping in to clair, and finally rounding up rachel it was a bit of a dales day out- sadly the inhand judge was not much of a hairy fan. we came 3rd but she didn't have anything bad to say about her so who knows.
Anyway sorry to Clair and Rachel for our speedy departure but Nancy was falling asleep so we rushed home- after our bacon sandwich hehehe.

No wonder Katie was tired, its such a long day for the ponies when the classes are so spread out.

 thats about right "round rachel up!!!" everyone who knows me knows that is just so fitting!!!...well i wasnt apologising for being late, seeing as they had combined a class before us so were running ahead of time!!! and yep we can safely say she didnt like black hairies!!!boohooooo......well if she didnt have anything bad to say about nancy she didnt have anything bad to say about marley.....in fact she didnt say anything to us at all!!!.....sour grapes galore!!!....anyway we had a really good chat with everyone put the showing world to rights and they shared sandwiches all round ;D i would say though at local level i really think people must be feeling the pinch as i have never known the shows be so poorly attended,we expected with it being a 2 qaulifier show it would be packed so the classes should have been running late  ....but there was hardley anyone there really,and we have seen this at every show this year,im guessing people are being very carefull with their diesel....its sad though.... anyway we have some pics as and when i can get daughter to put them on for me!!!
