I have been told of horse thieves in the Manchestere and surrounding areas too.. apparently they are taking pictures of the horses they want and then organising it at night. A yard not far from my old yard got disturbed and left empty handed but had 4 horses in the yard running around loose and they had taken off all the padlocks from the gates ready to load the horses.
