I attended a Fun Driving day yesterday & what an eye opener it was.
I was invited by a lady with Dales who is interested in helping with the FunShow for next year, she is going to TRY and get approval off the ground owners for a driving class and TRY and get BDS to offer a ticket for M&M at Braintree (that just sounds gobbaldygook to me & ive probably got names wrong, apologies
) ANYWAY;
I was asked by the lady to sit as passenger for her two tests, i thanked her but said no thanks "ive NEVER been on a cart before let alone do a test with someone" she wouldn't take NO for an answer so i clambered onto this alien wheeled object and proceeded to feel sick with worry
We went WIZZING around this course, thru large hay bales, over tarpaulins, in & out of cones, i had to peg some washing on a line, draw a horse in 30 seconds, find a golf ball in a bath of shavings, post a letter AND got down a slope thru a brook & out the other side - if that wasn't bad enough we had to come back across the brook to get back to the finish line
Without a doubt we came LAST, it was scary and i held on for dear life but AFTER the event i found it fun and glad i did it although im not sure id do it again in a rush
Sadly no pics, totally forgot and if i had of done they would have been blured from my jelly legs & trembling hands
