D is home and settled in her field. She travelled well without so much as a sweat. She looks very relaxed and chilled in her field and has been snoozing in the sun while Joe and I scythed nettles from the fence and cleaned the water trough.
A really HUGE thank you to Julie and Anna for all their hard work, patience and kindness with my "special needs" mare! I really feel that D couldn't have been in better hands and can't recommend Nipna Stud enough!

So glad the journey home went well and D is happily settled in her paddock. I was beginning to get worried and was about to PM you! Was she pleased to see Fred again? Hope it wasn't too back breaking raking all that grass - it didn't rain over here so hope it was the same in Lincoln and the grass was light and easily disposed of. You must be sooooooooo happy to have her back home, happy, healthy and in foal!

Thanks everyone. I accidentally left DF open on my computer and conked out on the settee after all the driving and field work. I wasn't ignoring you all - honest! She was very pleased to see Fred and they walked over to each other straight away. Fred has a new Shetland friend called Pebbles though who WASN'T so pleased to see D! A bit of squealing went on.
A bit less work for you now Julie!
