Yesterday morning and tonight we've done leading practice! I am creating a track round the farm for the ponies to use which is complete all but the "boggy field" which the grown ups are strip grazing off slowly. Yesterday we took Tim one way, the easier way as less scary route! Today we went the other way which involves a track down by the wood which is a bit closed in and more scary. Here's how we got on! Oooh! Where are we going? I will trot along after Mummy. I am a good boy! Do you have apple? Are we going first? It looks a bit scary Lucy! Are there tigers?? Mummy's here. All is fine! Let's go back up first cos I am big and I am brave! I win the cutest (smallest!) bum competition! Yay! I spy with my little eye, some thing beginning with "t".... ThistleYour go Mummy! I am a little star! I've been soooo good, I just need to do something.......... HORRID!!!!!! Only a few tears and tantrums! Steve took good-boy pics. He has now been re-programmed! I need kak-proof pants for Ashbourne!! Mind, he'll probably be more clingy to Mummy as it'll be a bit over whelming...hopefully!

The worrying thing is I've just noticed where his little front hooves are, ie above Sue's head height! He is also blocking my exit when I've visited him and pushing his little bottie in my general direction for scratching! And he comes hooning up to see me. He thinks his name's changed too....."Tim NO"!! ;D I can feel some polypipe coming on!

Foal-oholic more like!! Who couldn't be one! Got back from my squaddies tender embrase (sp??) and Sue had done and shut in grown ups so we took Timbles and Amy on leading practice again just in the top field. He had decided that a head collar disagreeing with his desire to go where he wanted was worth fighting with so spent more time on his hind legs than on the ground! I had decided slightly more consistent manners were appropriate! We agreed to differ and then had a compromise, he had a little tantrum, I then asked him to stand and gave him a scratch and a cuddle if he did. Amy stroled around but couldn't really see the point of the exercise as it was interuppting her grazing, but at least someone else was entertaining the little monster! He was definately in silly-head mode so actually wasn't too badly behaved considering!
