in her Youngstock class this morning, so she qualified for a big show in September. Folly was a very good girl, but it was an early class so she had no time to get fed up!! It was very windy, and the show field a bit soggy, but she behaved extremely well. And the judge said she moved really well too - so we are very pleased with her today LOL!!

Yes, Olivia, she has lost the last of her foal tail, and suddenly looks different - as you say, grown up!! We always seem to end up being the only black hairy among the welshies!!
I saw a lovely big coloured horse with a rider on board, reverse suddenly into the nice 4 x 4 parked next to them - caused a lot of damage to the lights and back panel. Then when it was time to go home, the horse would not load and we left and they were still trying. Suddenly Oliver does not look too bad when you see horses like that one!!!

Congratulations on Folly's red!!!! I think she looks far more matured than Blossom did at that age. She's such a pretty little girl, and the judge must've thought so too

Congratulations Folly and Rick! She is looking grown up all of a sudden. I think she even looks different in this photo than she did at the Breed show. So pleased you got a red one Mair!

Folly was two in May, Gill. We kept getting yellow rossies, but with all the welshies we are up against round here, I suppose its not bad, and the classes are always popular. I am going to bit her now, as she is getting very strong. Will do some work on her over the winter and see how she looks come Spring. If she matures some more, I may back her and then turn her away and get her in foal Looking at her, she already seems more mature than Molly was at that age, and maybe slightly taller. She is a lot harder to handle than Molly was at that age - I was showing Molly as a youngster, but Folly has more oomph to her!!
