Yes, I'd like to hear about it too. We didn't go in the end. Harvey qualified for the M&M Dressage Championship but when I looked into the costs of registering both of us etc I decided it was too much. But I would love to know what the class was like and whether any other Dales Ponies were in it. Hope some one can tell me.

we only did the non members classes recently because they were close to us.We stopped joining some years ago when they made the qualifying tickets readily available. The local gymkhana had the same ticket as the champ of Lincoln county got and it was a registered or non-registered m and m class.

If this happened it was clearly a mistake as the P(UK) rules state quite clearly the following:
Open to Mountain and Moorland ponies of all ages, registered with their approved respective Pure Breed Societies of Connemara, Dartmoor, Dales, Exmoor, Fells, Highlands, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh Sections A, B, C and D. Stallions, colts, fillies, mares or geldings. **A MAXIMUM OF 4 QUALIFIERS WILL BE ALLOCATED PER SHOW** It is suggested that shows holding more than 4 qualifying classes should hold a Championship for the M&M classes to be worded as follows: “The winner of each class to go forward into the Championship and the Champion and Reserve Champion from the small breeds and the Champion and Reserve Champion from the Large breeds will qualify.”
I agree it is expensive but it is still a fabulous show and we treat it as our holiday.

We had a great time at P(UK) again. We met up with friends and the weather was good for a change which made the week even more enjoyable. We took Mischief and Sylvan this year and they did adult and youngstock Dales and M&M classes. They did well in all of them but the best was the Dales classes where they both won their class and then took Champion and Reserve. Mischief Champion and Sylvan Reserve. Mischief has now been Champion for three consecutive years. We are sooo proud of her and she knows it. The M&M classes this year were full of stallions for some reason. The girls did well by being the highest placed mare in both of their classes. Mischief was 4th and Sylvan 5th. In Mischiefs class there were 10 stallions!!! They also had a second and a third so we were very happy. Mischief did the evening performances twice. Once for the Daily Mail Supreme (which she won last year) but this year was won by Len Bigleys section D stallion and the cuddy, which was won by the lovely Welsh C, Parvadean Delight. Dales ponies did well on the whole with Nic and Joanne having a great show and Sky doing really well too. A few photos. Dales classes Mischief Sylvan and waiting to go into the evening performance
