We are pleased to say our Waterside Joanne did really well at PUK! She has never been before and took the whole experience in her stride. She won both Dales ridden classes, was 2nd behind Manorian Mischief in the Dales Inhand and 1st Reserve champion behind Mischief and Sylvan. One of her Dales ridden wins earned her the right to be in the evening performance and she rose to the occasion with the most wonderful trot and gallop Jo has ever given. She was also 4th in mixed breeds Junior Ridden, and 6th in Mixed M&M Novice Ridden, (may have got that the wrong way round, but nevermind, she got a 4th and a 6th!), and also came 4th in the Evening Performance Concours D'Elegance too which was amazing - 41 entries, 30 forward! She had a fab time and has the temperament to cope with all the buzz of an evening performance - it perks her up without her getting silly. We had a wonderful sociable week with friends and Nicola had lots of people she knew there to party with at night. Even the weather was great!

Well done Nic and Joanne - they did really well. You must be a proud Mum, Penny, and rightly so.

in my camera Linda, I will have to find time to download some; will try this evening to get round to it. Thanks for the lovely comments. I am of course proud of Nicola and even more so of Joanne Mair. Some of you will remember the poor state of this pony when she came to us and some of the struggles we had with her when wild. She has come along way.

Part of the Concours D'Elegance preliminary judging line up - the grey Connemara sat to the right of Nicola looking at the picture won the class, a friend of ours, so that's OK! after the evening performance, just on the edge of darkness in the final lineup

thanks Norma, they are better than mine. I must look on the professionals sites too to see if there are any really good ones on there, I think Nicola deserves one
