...or maybe she's storing up the spikes to stick in the other ponies! I've got visions of her swinging her tail, laden with thistle spikes, right across Isaac's face like a gladatorial mace!

I've got visions of her swinging her tail, laden with thistle spikes, right across Isaac's face like a gladatorial mace! I think she must have already done that Isaac has rubbed a hole in his cheek over the last day or two, he must have had a thorn in it or something. It's so d**n difficult keeping on top of those things when you only see them in the dark on work days. Sigh. Roll on spring!

Oh poor Isaac! Hope he is better soon. Give him a kiss from Auntie Linda. On second thoughts, give him a treat to eat - he would probably prefer that! LOL!

I can see I am going to have to stop making jokes at poor old Isaac's expense as they are obviously coming true Maybe Celt is a voodoo pony We do funny things over here in France you know! Hope he's better soon and doesn't object too much to the antibiotic jabs! Edited for typos.

Poor Issac! Ariel did something similar earlier this year by rubbing on fence posts, ended up with al large abcess under her chin. I missed it because I wasn't really "with it" she recovered very quickly with abs Mind you, spotted her rubbing on the same fence post again yesterday Hope Celt isn't sniggering at him

Now don't go tempting fate, Helen! I owe the vets more than enough already!! Things looked quieter this morning. Choc and Wizz came in for breakfast. Wizz is happy as larry at having ABs cos he's been given the in feed variety (no nasty jabs), which means, you guessed it, he has to have a big breakfast!! What a happy pony (even if it does taste like poo!) Celt and Tim were saying hello at the water trough this morning (don't know where Amy was!) they were doing electric nose cautious sniffing and jumping away! They then had a game of who can do the highest pawing at the poly pipe that feeds the trough! Are all of yours water babies!! Celt I might add, also does very impressive pawing, and climbing stable partitions and kicking doors and gates!! I had resort to tying her up whilst waiting for her turn for a pedicure!! She is also getting the measure of Isaac. He decided to charge her this morning, she let him catch her the gave him both barrells, which meant he had to turn to kick back and in the meantime she was off out of there!! She's a smart cookie and she's still coming for cuddles!

I had resort to tying her up whilst waiting for her turn for a pedicure!! Ummm - naughty girl I think the proper Celt may have been swapped in transit The only thing I've ever seen her kick is Fiona -and she missed ! She is definitely not one of my water babies - she used to look on a hospeipe with total disdain. She should also be used to standing quietly, waiting for the farrier for ages - she was always tied up on the yard with Cadeby and Flint who are the last to be trimmed, so sometimes she would be waiting for two or more hours, without a squeak from her! Like this! ... not a great photo but this is Celt waiting quietly for the farrier with an undignified shot of Cadeby's girlie bits and a glimpse of Flint standing in line : Perhaps you should wave the photo in front of her nose to remind her that she used to be an angel Sounds like she's reacting to the change by trying to throw her weight around The only pawing we've ever seen is for food when she's been towards the end of the line. She learnt that from her Mum who hates to think there may not be enough to go around! Feel free to dish out the discipline Lucy

The honeymoon's over, and Celt's trying to see what she can get away with Awwwhhh, I did love the big 'hug in' with her cuddled near Cadeby! See what happens Isaac?! You'd best not mess with these French girlies, they've got their own means of revenge Soooo, that's what all those thistles were for
