Hi All, Meant to take these pics AGES ago because someone was asking about them. I took a few pics of my WOW saddle with the H girth. While this girth doesn't work for everyone, and isn't a cure for all ills, it certainly works for Tilly and I. Her saddle has never been so stable (laterally and forward/backwards) so I'm very pleased I invested in it. From the side: The whole saddle: The pad underneath that keeps it all stuck still (although this is a bit skewiff - it should be dead centre) (and apologies for all the mud - I always was hopeless at grooming!)

Thanks for posting. I have never seen one like that. Must look into it.

Thanks for posting these pics. I've never seen one of these girths on a horse. I can see how they are ideal for our shaped ponies. Harvey also has a rather forward girth groove although i've neer had any saddle stability problems with him.

It almost acts like the rear cinch on a western saddle, keeping the front cinch from floating forwards (though in a western, its the front cinch keeping the rear one from floating backwards and becoming a bucking strap). I can see how it would keep the girth from going up into Tilly's armpit. Thanks for posting the pics
