Argh!
My friend had a lovely bridle she would have sold me second hand but the noseband doesn't fit, on the last hole it doesn't sit low enough down Bens face.
I bought a cob sized Wintec bridle because it was cheap, and although this one sits low enough on the last hole I can't get it done up around his chops!
The throatlash (ok on the very last hole), cheekpieces and browband are fine, it's just the noseband I'm struggling with. He is a Dales pony (hopefully that is obvious lol), would have expected a cob bridle to fit a wide nose to be honest.
Can anyone recommend a cheap synthetic or mock leather bridle (must come in brown) that fits a fairly long nosed cobby type or does anyone have a full sized brown Wintec cavesson noseband I can buy?

Haven't any spare nosebands but I don't think your problem is unusual for a Dales Pony. Harvey needs the width of a full size or even extra full size bridle but I generally need to get the noseband shortened in length and the cheek pieces too.

Mine not being a Dales but a Highland, he had cob cheek pieces, XFull browband and the rest full, but with a shorter length to the nose band.
I have to admit we have a brilliant lady locally and i got her to make me a bridle in the end.

I got a saddler to make D's bridle to measure too. It wasn't too horrendously expensive.
