All girls cook, eat and drink evening! The boys dubbed it the estrogen club! Not sure if I've spelt it any better now I'm sober!

It was supposed to be Sue and my tack cleaning night but it has sort of morphed and expanded! Not much tack gets cleaned now, well, none actually!

Spelling was never my strong point, product of the 70s schooling system! My Mum has never forgiven me really as she was a teacher. I hate writing letters to her as i know they mentally get marked!! ;D

I didn't say what the prize was, did I?! You can most certainly take a boy home with you if you like? You have the choice of one very expensive one who does circus tricks, or one useless brown lump who seems to be the main "hole maker"! I'm afraid that the "bum" has to stay as he has an arranged marriage!

Mind you, what would you want him for?? Aren't 3 boys enough for you?! Maybe he could come for a summer holiday in a few years time??

Tim and Jacq are certainly very alike, although Jacq is missing the pink patch on his manly bits!
He's also a little more discrete about airing it in public - don't believe everything you hear about French boys!

Tim will certainly be welcome for a "working" holiday in a few years time when he can master what he's practising

Jacq has longer legs!! He is planning on being Flint size!

I have a father like that. He still corrects my speech, even though I have attained the ripe old age of 42 and if we watch University Challenge together, I get lots of " I can't believe you don't know that...." etc..etc.. all done in good humour though. It's become a bit of a family joke
I blame him for sending me to a scummy comprehensive where you called the teachers by their christian names and if you didn't want to work, you didn't have to

Jacq does look to have longer legs, but Tim's hooves are buried in your lovely grass, so it could just be an illusion. Jacq is actually our littlest foal to date, but after Jo's estimation as to what Celt is going to make, I'm giving up making height predictions
Their dad Wilf was a very late maturer. He grew a full 2 inches between 6 and 8 years old, so I think you can never really tell. Dales just don't seem to conform to the standard height percentile charts of other horses do they?
Maybe Tim has more of Amy's height genes than Sammy's??? He has a good depth of body and long cannon bones so I think he'll outgrow his momma!

...and if Jacq tops out at Flint height - 18hh - I shall send him to Sue as a free gift

Will take my head torch and go tick checking! I have spent some time udder scratching which she particularly likes and haven't noticed anything though. Their underneaths are all mud splattered though. Oh for some cold dry weather!

I do hope Tim makes the 14hh mark (Amy is only 13.2) but I prefer them smaller rather than 14.2 size as I have duck's disease (my a*se is too close to the floor!! )

Sue is going to send you some premium foal food for Jacq so he grows like a weed and she gets her free pony!

We now have our tractor back today and a £2.2k bill Ouch!!! At least if it ever dries up I can poo pick again!

Ouch indeed - has it been gold-plated?
We may be facing a similar bill as our tractor's gear-box is almost shot. If we want to go at any speed above 2mph it has to be backwards
