laminitis warning!

The grass is deffinately shooting through bright green and my trimmer says several of her lami prone horses have been a bit footy this week. Quest has been fine and no raised pulses but he did feel his feet more than usual after the trim so I am playing it safe and restricting his turn out.

Just a warning for you to keep an eye on your ponies and the grass.

Blimey, thanks for the warning, wouldn't have even thought about it. Guess though with all the rain and now a little something called sun (still not sure really what that is, LOL).

Thanks for warning Pam, Bobs is in a mud field with around 10 blades of grass or so it seems but I have noticed his poo's are darker when he has been in field so he must be getting something.
He has the opportunity to go into another very grassy field but Im sticking to the mud field!
