Yes, it is very interesting. Thanks for putting up this link Gill. My trimmer was discussing the enzyme thing with me last time she was here. She has been in contact with the woman who has been doing the main research on these same enzymes in humans and now sees the connection to laminitis in horses.
Linda - do ask Jane about it. We had a very lengthy conversation and I learnt an awful lot. I can now see the connection between Quest's skin sensitivity/allergies and his laminitis. It also gave me a light bulb moment when I saw the connection between my ankle arthritis and an allergic type rash I get. I think I must be suffering from LGL too! lol

Thanks Gill, definitely interesting and this thinking would go far in explaining Topaz range of problems. I'd like to learn more about LGL so if you come across anything else I'd love to see what you find. There's just not as much investigation into laminitis over here and it's not going in this sort of direction.
