I needed a new pair of wellingtons, and looked into lots of different makes. Well i decided on the Ariat wellingtons as i was able to ride in them as well. Well i am ssssoooo pleased with them. they are very comfortable, warm and just ace. Highly recommend them for anyone looking for a good pair of wellingtons, that you can ride in too.

Rowndan, i have to admit the first 2 hours i thought, i wish i had brought another pair of muck boots, but after a very short time they are broken in and i am more hooked with them than muck boots.
Plus you can ride in the ariat ones, just a quick hose off before getting in the saddle. Where the more comfortable muck boots you can not and the riding muck boots i got, i have hardly worn as i didn't get on with them as well. More so, as i have short legs (between calf and foot) and ride short, so they dig into the back of my knee.
Since having them we have also had some cold weather and my feet have stayed warm, but then i always have a couple of thick socks on.
Hope that is of some help.
These boots are a generous in size, so if in doubt what size to get, they do come up a little big than some.

I have had a pair of these for a while now and have not been at all impressed mainly because the fastening at the side to pull the top of the boot in keeps coming undone all the time, however I spoke to our Ariat rep in the shop yesterday and she informs me that there was a problem with some of these clips and that I could send them back, so if anyone else has a pair with this problem Ariat are aware of it.
