Does anyone use / has used Spillers Blue Chip Lami Lite?
Lass our oldest mare (16) sufferred a bout of laminitis 18 months ago. She has been sound since and not had any reoccurrence. She is now in-foal, due in 12 weeks time and I feel that she needs a little extra feed for the final stages of her pregnancy. We keep her fairly slim with 24 hour turn-out on a sparse paddock and ad-lib hay, but she doesn't have any excess weight on her.
I am finding it impossible to source laminitis-specific feeds in France and I don't want to feed a traditional mare and foal mix, incase this re-triggers the laminitis. I am coming to the UK next week so I thought I may aswell stock up on a feed product there. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks, Helen.

yes, I think a quality lami-feed balancer would be a good thing. I haven't used the Spillers one but have found the Topspec Antilam good in the past. I expect most of these balancers within a similar price range are much of a muchness. Why not ring/email the various companies for advice?
I think Linda said she is feeding D Bailey's stud balancer which might be an idea for your mare as she is in foal. I'm sure Linda will tell you more.

Yes, I'm feeding D Bailey's stud balancer as that is what the Pennells use and she had been having it whilst at their place. It seems to work for them so I decided not to change anything.
