For those who spend a fortune on bird seed, fat balls, peanuts etc - try www.wildbirdfood.uk.comThey are reasonably cheap and very quick at delivering. I buy hte economy seed and it is very good - some of hte cheaper bird mixes you can get in shops have a lot of wheat in that the birdies won't eat but this one doesn't and they love it.

Thanks for that link Jane...I spend a lot on bird food and peanuts for our little feathered freinds and it really is quite an expense

Thanks Jane, I keep thinking that the birds are eating loads then I look at the ground and see all the seeds there, although I do think it's funny watching them spitting out the seeds they don't like ;D

Ooo I hadn'tnoticed that Leann - thanks, I've just lifted a huge amount of germinated seeds, they are sitting in a big pile while i decide what to do with them, I might just lob them over into the field next door ;D

The bird table is just outside the garden Leann - but a few wily old devils have worked out that the peanut feeders and fatball feeders are INSIDE the fence and fly in to cleen up....cheeky beggars. And not an egg to show for it either at the moment!

They are good aren't they? I ordered one Saturday and the sacks were here on the Tuesday which is great for up here.
