Thanks for the post Heather...its very informative. Its fascinating to watch them interacting with eachother and the different objects. I often wonder whether Axel's missing out in his development with not having any other youngsters to 'play' with, but he does interact very well with Jay and Archie.
I've got a soft spot for Legs....he's adorable!

Great photos Heather and some very good tips. I want a gym ball for my babies, but I can't find one here. So Argos here I come on my next trip to the UK Legs looks like he's grown again ;D

Thanks Heather, that's very interesting. Harley popped a gym ball! Him and Apollo play 'pass the skip' with their feed skips (except when grumpy Jane has stuffed them into tyres to stop H tipping them up!).
Its lovely to see pictures of them all playing, the older ones as well. LOL at Merlin doing the I'm big and stro......................oh no! Bad move! bit!!
Yep, Legs is definitely growing again I would say!

Thanks Heather, fascinating and lots of good tips. I love watching my 3 interact - the most playful and cheeky of mine is 35 year old Winnie! He is bottom of the herd but loves teasing and winding the others up. When he is in the mood he canters tiny circles round one of the others and every now and then darts in and prods them until they get so annoyed they go to see him off and chase him round the field at a flat out gallop. Then Winnie used to jump out of the field which the others couldn't do and once things had settled down, Winnie would jump back in and start all over again. He can no longer manage the jumping bit now thankfully.......

Its so fascinating to watch your herd interacting Heather Ahhhh, Blossom could have done with her older brother teaching her a few things She devoutly puts her hooves in her ears and sings lalalalaalala to paying attention to what Galahad's doing.

That's given me some ideas of different things to try on the Muskrat A friend of mine is trying to persuade me to take on her 2yo TBXWelshX? gelding to keep Musky company but I think that two youngsters in the field with James (20yo) may be a bit much.....
