Just wondered if anyone else had tried this? I have had a chat with the lovely man at top spec as i have only been giving misty a handful of cool mix when she has done some work, and all winter she has held her weight fine, she is an extremely good doer and i cant put any licks, salt, mineral etc in with her as she demolishes them in a matter of days. But she has just started to look a bit rubbish! Her coat isnt as shiny, she has a micro bacterial inf in her mane and she had a bit of a runny nose. I think she has got a bit run down and is lacking something, so i have put her on top spec lite, dengie lite and salt on recommendation of top spec. so we shall see if she looks any better. I tried normal top spec before and she came out in lumps as most feeds do this to her. So fingers crossed this works.

I use Top Spec Antil Lam for my in-foal/lactating broodmares. I started using it with Lass who had one attack of laminitis two years ago. She looks great on it - slim, full of energy, nice shiny coat coming through. I was so pleased with the results that all the expectant mums get it now. I feed at the full rate.
