Had a very civilised day today at BSPS 1A, home for 1 o'clock which was nice! I took Sonny to do the Open ridden class, it was lovely warm weather and had a lovely day. Was very pleased to be 2nd with him ;D Feels like the show season has finally started now, was a lovely warm day and loads of beautiful horses there. The best thing about today was that I was not anywhere near as nervous as I have been before - still felt those butterflies but managed to relax a bit more today!! And I was really pleased with Sonny, he was such a good boy ;D Not sure what my face is doing     |

Well done Laura.  Sonny looked great and went really well. It was lovely seeing you so relaxed. if you had butterflies you hid it well.  |

Congratulations Laura! Lovely to hear you weren't so nervous as well. In fact, in that first picture when you say you don't know what your face is doing, you look like you're looking dreamily into the distance! LOL!

Well Done to both you and Anna, you can tell you have both been working hard on them.
They looked really well.
Thank you for sending me the pictures you took of Stan, I was really pleased with the way he coped considering, it was his first show.
LOL!
It was nice to see some other dales ponies there!!

Well done Laura. Sonny looks like he's going really nicely. Just wondered if you've ever considered acupuncture for your nerves? My friend used to get herself into a right state before showing. So much so that she spoilt all the enjoyment for herself (and probably her horse too). She had a couple of sessions of acupuncture and it seemed to work for her. Maybe it was a placebo effect, or maybe something physical  Either way, she started to compete at County level, enjoyed herself and did quite well  |
