This is a bit strange to recomend but i recently bought my self a wii fit and i have found it has helped with my fitness which has had a knock on effect on my riding!
everytime you go on it you have to do a daily test which measures your BMI, weight and your centre of gravity. Tghe centre of gravity test is good because being aware of your centre of gravity helps you in the saddle and also strengthens your core muscles.
It also asks you to set your self a target every two weeks, every month or two months to loose a certain amount of weight and it is very motivating too! they look a bit like games some of the excercises but that is just to make them more interesting and really get you working hard!
Just wondering if any one has one and has found the same?

Is it some form of riding video game Ali?? I think I've seen a short clip where people were doing pushups for a Wii fitness thing.

My sister bought bought one and I had a go recently. My centre of gravity was very "left-hand sided". The first thing I said was "oh! thIS will help with my riding." My sister who is an Occuppational therapist said " No! It will help with your entire LIFE".

My son has one - I didn't know you could do a test thing. Will have to give it a go, although I KNOW it'll tell me I'm unfit, overweight and one-sided! LOL

I don't think I'd care to hear my profile ...hmm.... ancient old crippled woman who can occasionally move on a whim They sound excellent for giving biofeedback though! Wish I knew someone who had a WII and the game to try it.
