Decision made....I think lol!

I have decided to put Twinkle with Maggy,s stallion Harlequin, this has been a very difficult decision, as most of you will know it has been a dream of mine to breed my own foal and a part bred dales seems the way to go in light of Twinkles loading and traveling problem, I really don,t want her stressed any more than need be.
I know some purist among st us may disagree but I think its best for Twinks, as my second love after dales are colored horses I may end up with a colored part bred which would be wonderful, although to be frank I don,t really care as long as the foal is healthy, also Harley's temperament is to die for and that is so important to me.
I have had a long chat with Mag and she also thinks it would be a great match, so fingers crossed, I Will keep you all updated.

Sounds good to me Vanda. Don't worry what anyone else thinks. She's your mare, you know her best and you know what sort of foal you want.

One look at the DPS sales list shows you how many Dales youngstock there are still for sale, so one mare "lost" to purebred breeding isn't going to have a huge impact. That's my thoughts anyway

Far better to get the foal you want Vanda! You know your girl the best, and you've got Harls right there with Maggie for the best support you could ever wish for.

As one who loves coloured horses, I'd say a cloured part bred- if your lucky enough with that combination- would be fabulous.
