Just a quick update on my new free n easy saddle, I have been riding Merls in it the last few weeks in readiness for our next endurance ride next weekend and I must say I,m impressed, Merls seems to like it, I have found when mounting even from the ground its like a rock and dose,nt move, it has taken a bit of getting use too as it does put you in a different position, but I really like it!! ;D will try and get some pics.

Sounds like a bit hit with you and Merls, so I hope you'll both be mega comfy on your next ER

Just thought I would let you all know that having done about four rides on Merls now in his new saddle I am still really pleased with it, I am still getting use to it as it does put me in a different position than my Samber did, but Merls seems happy with it and I have noticed a difference in the muscle in his back, it will be interesting to hear what Annabel my chiroprctor thinks when she nexts comes to visit.

That's encouraging Vanda. Looking forward to Annabel's verdict.

What does your own body think of being placed in the different position Van? Is it easier on you? Or does it still feel too awkward to be comfortable? It'll be interesting to hear what your chiro thinks of Merlin's back. Do let us know

Its not so much a comfort thing Deb, I just feel a litle unbalanced sometimes although it is getting better.

Does it feel like its pitching you forwards or backwards or?? Just wondering if there was something that might help you to feel a little more balanced in it all the time Afterall, for long rides, that can get tiring if you don't know when you'll be tipped onto your nose, or left behind the action No fun!
