I cant believe ive done it!!! Just have to tell someone who knows what im talking about!!!! lol On tuesday and wednesday i went to Norfolk and spent two days with John Parker and Sue Townsend at Swingletree stables. It was fab............. i had so much fun and drove three of John's ponies that go to Olympia every year. I had to remind myself i was there not only for the social but to take the first part of my Carriage Driving Exams. So on wednesday afternoon i passed with flying colours!!! and came home with the biggest smile on my face and the curriculum for the next one - the intermediate which im already ploughing my way through!! cant wait for the next stage. The best bit of all was i was taken round the Carriage House - i have touched and seen so many of his vintage carriages including the jem in his collection (of which there are many!) the London to Norwich Mail Coach which goes to Olympia. Feet now firmly back on terra ferma and back to boring work!!! But still smiling

Yes Carol took me out with Lorna, Jessica and Danny - so i was spoiled. Everyone is so nice and atmosphere was relaxed which really helps. Did the cones with a two wheeler and also with the four wheeler which was great fun, havent done cones for years!!
Did my road test with Danny who is a little star and was hoping the seatbelt in my car would have gone round him and then i could have taken him home!! lol Sue didnt agree with me tho!! tehehehhehehehe
Looking forward to the next session!!

Thank you, i am pretty pleased with myself, something ive been going to do for ever and never got round to it. Finally was persuaded by my Uni lecturer who told me to stop wasting my time doing things i didnt enjoy and go do my exams to qualify and stop playing at it. These words of wisdom worked!!! I am now on my way and looking forward to the intermediate one. Also finally spurred me on to start my younger pony ready to put to the carraige later this year. Eventually hope Ru and Sal will drive as a pair!! Fingerscrossed.

Well done ! I sat my level 1 and road driving up at Jane McInnes's yard in Aberdeen a couple of years ago. Started getting stuff together for my level 2 but have never got round to doing any more about sitting it.
