I am taking James (he who can create chaos out of nothing) and Musky to a show together with help from my friend Donna (who hopefully will still be my friend afterwards). This will be their first outing together so fingers crossed Please don't let Oliver see this or he'll be on the phone to them ;D

I have finally managed to sort out a bridle for Musky and he had it on for a short while today after the farrier had been so with a bit more work he should be OK to wear it for the In hand showing unfortunately it means James will be shown In hand in his Pelham as the Veteran ridden is going to be very close to Musky's class On a positive note the farrier was impressed with both of them today - model customers Re pics: as mine tend to be pretty useless I will look out for the photographer

We got home safe and sound James, aside from whinneying like a lost soul everytime Musky was out of sight, was very good and Donna was very pleased with their first show - they came second Musky decamped from the trailer a bit precipitately as he was being chased by his tail bandage but we didn't flatten anyone. He was as good as gold tied to the trailer and walking around the showground, we had to walk past people chatting standing with horses, children generally tearing about and others cantering around warming up for their classes. As soon as we got in the ring "pow!". I think my body language must change As soon as we came out of the ring a few stand, walk-on, stand, walk-ons and he chilled out again He leaves James behind without a second glance ;D

That's great!! First outings are always daunting.
Those tail bandages are very naughty, chasing innocent ponies out of trailers!!
