I need some new ones to ride in at the shows.
Does anyone have any recommendations?
I would love a pair of Blasi Italia ones with the patent leather top and toes but they are a tad expensive @ 400+.

I struggled to get a pair of long boots that were wide enough and short enough ;D I got a pair of Equitector which are nice. They keep your feet warm in winter and cool in summer, they have steel toecaps and polish up well. www.equitector.com

I have a pair of Regent Grafton that I picked up on ebay for £25. They were just about worn in so got a bargain. They are smart boots with a zip up the back & are really comfy boots to ride in.

I love my Mountain Horse Sportive High Riders - the took some wearing in, but now I can wear them all day and still be comfortable at the end. They come in loads of different leg heights and widths and polish up really well, even if used as every day boots.

I recently bought some beautiful handmade leather boots from a lovely Italian man who had a stall at Windsor. I think they are a copy of those Sergio wotsit (I can't remember full name!!) boots yet they were £120 less!!! They were still just over £200, but are absolutely gorgeous leather and extremely comfortable to ride in. You can really feel the horse which is something lots of leather boots get wrong! (if you understand that??). He does a few of the big shows and events, so he is well worth looking out for. Fraticelli Selleria is the name on the box.
My previous boots were cavallo (not zip fastening) which are for sale in case anyone is interested? (size 7 standard calf vgc)

I have heard people having problems with the zip in mountain horse boots - but mine have always been fine (touches wood)
