I'm working at the show all week on the city farms and community gardens stand and would love to say hi to any Dalesfans. Will check out times of classes and see if I can sneek off for a while.

First year I've done this so think I've got to do a few hours helping school age kids putting seeds in pots to take home. The idea with School Farms Network/community farms and gardens is to educate the next generation on where there food comes from something I'm a bit passionate about!! What I'd love to do is fit my hours around the dales classes so if someone can let me know when they are I'll be ringside cheering you all on!!

Hi Sky, sorry I missed you all at the show. As I've posted to Lesley in the new fans section I ended up being used as a rubbing post by one of the parelli horses just the way Dolls used to and got myself in a bit of a state so ended up watching the Dales from a distance. Didn't want to put a damper on anyones day. Parelli people were so sweet and also my wonderfully supportive partner who ended up with a very damp shoulder. Apart from that had a great week with about 6,500 school kids coming through our section keeping us very busy!! Also met some fantastic local people in the evenings who made us very welcome indeed. Off to Kent Show on Sunday to get things ready for our 600 Kent Young Farmers so if anyone there please come and visit our area.

Hi Grace, sure I'm going to be at some Dales event somewhere soon. My new partner is really getting into ponies which is great. Kent was great fun. We were there from Monday to Sunday with over 400 young farmers. My eldest son was selected to greet our Royal visitors, Edward and Sophie, proud mummy moment!!
